ABOUT HERMIA
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Hermia noticed the absence of climate change education in Hong Kong secondary and tertiary curriculum. She therefore co-founded the Network of Environmental Student Societies (NESS) in early 2021, with an aim to provide a one-stop platform for awareness raising, capacity building, connection development and driving policy changes. She has attended international UN-level conferences advocating for climate education and climate justice. She is starting a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin this September.
