Lauterbrunnen and Wengen are for me, together with Mürren, among the most beautiful villages in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland. Already the train ride up to Wengen is breathtaking. Wengen itself is located high above the Lauterbrunnen valley and is famous in winter for the Lauberhorn race.
