P&O run most of their ships in pairs. Ioan / Arvia, Azura / Ventura, Iona / Arvia . The purpose of having two is that one will be a fly cruise, the other a no-fly cruise. That is a general rule, but it does seem to hold up. Azura is the fly-cruise of the two Grand Class ships, so it home-ports in Barbados in the winter, and Valletta in the summer. This means that with just a short break, you can holiday in some fantastic places with the Azura and it is a great ship. We have always been huge fans of the Grand Class.
