This is the way with my sharing of a long and rich cross-cultural journey mixed in with the various multicultural engagements -- from living experience to my education in the area of cross-cultural psychology 1967-74 and with an outstanding 45 years of a personal/academic sabbatical to have created a business in the area of gemstones, minerals with Brazil and Latin America. Such a self-induced sabbatical granted my journey in R&D and continued with the studies and observation in human psychology and cultures. I ask my audience to be forgiving with the many, which I call " Cultures, in bits and pieces.." If ever, the story line seems to have gone a bit off the main stream, I promise I will cover up in another segment of my "Fala", or talks in Portuguese.
