This clip from my college senior recital was a dream come true for me! I was so thankful to be able to sing this medley with my family, like the good ole' times! In this video, you see my maternal uncles, Dr. Álvaro Bolívar, Fernando Bolívar, and Dr. Samuel Bolívar. You also see my father, Luis León, my mother, Loyda Bolívar-León, and my cousin Javier Gonzalez–who was also my first voice teacher. Additionally, we were accompanied on the accordion by my great-uncle, Dr. Elvin S. Rodríguez, and our adopted family, Sergio Leiva, on the piano. We were just missing one of my uncles in the group, but we'll have to get him the next time! I am so fortunate to have been raised in a music-loving family who has supported me in my endeavors in the music business and I thank God every day. Even though my cousin, Javier Gonzalez, is the only one in this video that pursed classical singing professionally, everyone's true passion for music can be clearly seen. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do!
