鳥越神社大祭
鳥越神社の御本社神輿は千貫神輿と称し、都内随一の重さを誇ります。日曜日には、この御神輿を氏子各町が引き継ぎながら担ぎ、渡御列の先頭には、猿田彦（天狗）や手古舞連、子供たちの持つ五色の旗が歩きます。夕刻、神輿の弓張提灯と町会の高張提灯に火が入ると、祭りは最高潮を迎えます。この宮入道中は、「鳥越の夜祭り」と言われ、荘厳かつ幻想的です。
Torigoe Shrine Grand Festival
The main shrine portable shrine of Torigoe Shrine is called Senkan Mikoshi and is the heaviest in Tokyo. On Sundays, each parishioner town takes turns carrying this portable shrine, and at the head of the procession walks Sarutahiko (tengu), Tekomairen, and children holding five-colored flags. In the evening, the festival reaches its climax when the portable shrine's bow-shaped lanterns and the neighborhood lanterns are lit. This procession is called the "Torigoe Night Festival" and is both solemn and fantastical.
