So as many of you know, we suffer from severe vanxiety whenever we have to leave our van. Long term subscribers will also know we like to wild camp and stealth camp as much as we possibly can. Whether doing vanlife here in the UK, or abroad in Europe, we find ourselves parked up in remote locations, urban towns and even city centres! We were looking for the best van security system we could find, and one that couldnt be hacked or over ridden by a savvy thief with a computer!

As we prepare for our next long term van travel adventure, campervan security and preventing our self built van from being taken is at the forefront of our mind.

This clever and discreet security system called Bear lock is just what we were looking for to stop our van from being driven away, and, the guys at Theft stop have done a fantastic job of installing it for us.

We wanted something that would prevent a thief from driving off with our van but didn't want the cumbersome size, weight and faff of the usual steering wheel lock or pedal lock.
