** NEVER eat a large meal prior to training. Allow 3-4 hours for food digestion prior to a 'work out.'

Tips!
1) Have a quick warm-up. Skipping rope, jumping jacks, jogging on-a-spot, etc.
2) Find an area. Stretch a little. Know your body's limitations. Stretch to where you are comfortable. Slowly increase stretch over time.
3) Time to 'Hit the bag'. It's all Random. You do you.

4) Mainly focus on building a solid technique/foundation first, then worry about Speed and Power as you improve your skillset.
** Remember! It all DOESN'T happen over-night. Remain POSITIVE, FOCUSED, and allow yourself the time to grow.

5) Basic training: Begin w/ 2 min rounds. Goal: 5 minute rounds. Pushing yourself: 8 minute rounds.
** Rounds: 2x (2 min), 3x (2 min), 3x (3 min), 5x (3 min), 3x (5 min)
6) Wai (Bow) - Show Respect for your Dojo and also for others!

7) Water: STAY Hydrated !!
8) Always have a 10-15 minute stretch after a good 'work-out' !!

** Things to work on: Core, Cardio, Endurance, Burst training, and Stretching exercises!
The base of my CENTURY bag is solid & heavy - not much give there. It's like kicking a wall. I love it!
