Changeling" is based on a true story set in 1928 Los Angeles. Jolie portrays Christine Collins, a single mother whose son goes missing. After several months of searching, the LAPD claims to have found her son, but when she sees the boy, she insists that he is not her son. The police department, corrupt and desperate for good publicity, tries to silence Christine and have her declared insane. The film explores Christine's fight for justice and the injustices that she faced in a male-dominated society.

Jolie's performance in "Changeling" received critical acclaim, earning her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. The film was also well-received, receiving three Oscar nominations and several other award nominations.
This movie was directed by the iconic Clint Eastwood.
