Testing with a bottomless portafilter.

Beans: whole 1/2 Illy medium roast, 1/2 fresh roasted Three Legged Dog medium roast
Weight: 16g (as opposed to 17g recommended)
Grind size: 16 (as opposed to typical 17) finer

Resulted in better (a bit longer infusion 5 sec?), initial “Even” flow of coffee in the beginning but started squirting at the end due to channeling (sub-optimal distribution of grinds on the portafilter)

Puck was wet and not solid suggesting the need for more beans (maybe go back to 17g).
Taste was good though.
