Some info about Ho Chi Minh City.

Formerly called Saigon, the city is the largest economy center in South Vietnam and the largest in the country. The size of its GDP is twice larger than Hanoi (which is the second largest economy center).
In 2014, Ho Chi Minh City income (or GDP per capital) has reach 5,100 USD which is as much as those who live in Thailand (Vietnam's more developed neighbor).
