Anime characters come in all shapes and sizes. But when it comes to shounen anime, most characters tend to be teens. So, I wasn’t expecting the main character of Kaiju No. 8 to be a guy in his thirties going through a quarter life crisis. But that made the series all the better. Hibino Kafka is a surpassingly relatable anime protagonist, and I want to talk about him in this Kaiju No. 8 video essay.
