이 영상은 2017년 공연된 '비손' 프로그램 중 "바라지축원" 입니다.

바라지는 누군가를 물심양면으로 알뜰히 돌보는 것을 뜻하는 순우리말로, 전통음악에서는 음악을 이끌어 가는 주된 소리에 어우러지는 반주자들의 즉흥적인 소리를 가리킨다. 우리소리 바라지는 진도씻김굿의 소리와 전통의 타악, 기악, 연희 등 시대적 감각과 통할 수 있는 요소를 다듬어 세상을 조금 더 인간답게 만드는 데 바라지하는 것을 염원한다.

"Baraji," a pure Korean word that means the heartfelt care given to a person with unconditional support, also refers to the improvisational instruments that accompany the main instruments in the context of traditional music. Jindo shaman rituals, as well as traditional percussion and instrumental music are the basis of the humanity for furthering Baraji's musicality.
