Navajo Grandma shares Native American understandings, definitions, etc. about Petroglyphs found in Nine Mile Canyon in Utah. These Petroglyphs were etched into the canyon wall Patina by the Fremont I, ndians who existed from about 300 to 1300AD. Like the Chaco Canyon Dine' builders the Fremont Indians also disappeared around 1300AD. Only remnants of their pottery, petroglyphs, pictographs, dwellings, etc., have been found. Grandma gave some definitions of these petroglyphs. Please do not touch, respect these sacred etchings of the Fremont Indians. Do not add your own etchings on these sacred canyon walls as well. Thank you, Axehee. Navajo Grandma
