The first in what I hope will be many tutorials aimed at teaching pixel art. Also this is also technically my first true tutorial.

This intro tutorial covers getting familiar with sofware, and ends with an exercise that uses the software to create a basic sprite.

Tutorials after this one will be more focued on techniques rather than applications, so you may use whatever you are more comfortable with.
