Kevin's life has been a tough journey. Born in Atlanta but raised in New Orleans as the youngest of four, he faced challenges early on. His parents struggled with substance abuse, and after they split, his dad was often absent. His mom fought her addiction and became sober but then left, leaving Kevin with relatives. He dropped out of school at twelve to survive on his own.

In his teens, Kevin struggled to fit in, moving around with relatives while his dad was away. In his twenties, he ended up in Seattle with his dad, but ended up in jail shortly after. When he got out, his family went back to Louisiana, leaving him with a girlfriend. Shortly after they had a newborn son. Plans to reunite in Louisiana fell through, and they split up.

Now, Kevin's been living on the streets of Seattle for five years. He briefly stayed in a tiny home but it didn't last. He's had two more sons with his on-and-off girlfriend, but sadly, he's lost touch with his eldest son, who lives nearby. Kevin's story shows his resilience in the face of tough circumstances.
