-Another auto racing upload as the Indy 500 draws near. Continuing with some radio broadcasts from the first year of the Indy Racing League in 1996. This is the New Hampshire 200 race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Since the IRL ran an abbreviated three race first season that was meant to conclude at the Indy 500, this was the first race of what became the 1996-97 season (though the decision was made during the winter to scrap concluding at Indy so this season would stretch to the fall of 1997).
