In this episode, I’ll show how to easily replace a standard bathroom pop-up drain assembly for FREE. I provide step-by-step instructions for installing an Allen and Roth Pop Up drain assembly. However, the standard approach and techniques I use apply to most Pop-Up Drain Assemblies. So, this video should be valuable to you even though you may be installing a different brand of pop-up drain assembly.

Based on my conversations with Home Depot and Lowe's staff members, most of their plumbing suppliers to include Allen and Roth provide similar warranties and free replacement components. Consequently, I explain how to get free replacement parts.

In this effort, I identify all Pop-Up Drain Assembly parts and nomenclature, assembly them in my basement shop, install them in my bathroom, and make a final check for leaks and a successful installation. In addition, I identify all of the tools you’ll need.
