Last month, we hosted an intimate wine tasting session with fifth-generation winemaker Federica Boffa from Pio Cesare. The spirited evening showcased an excellent range of crisp whites and elegant reds from the winery, including a special pour of the Mosconi Barolo, a prized vino that’s produced annually since 2015. After all, Pio Cesare is known for its illustrious history, and is one of the last foundational families that still operates entirely from its original location in Piedmont, Italy.
