Roberts video #10. 1st of 2 inspection videos today. I removed the safety valve today to inspect it. This includes the acorn nut with release holes, the catch cup with drain tube, spring, and SS ball bearing (careful not to let it escape). Tools needed are:
1. Thin-wall 16mm socket (deep-well preferred) to remove the acorn nut.
2. Skinny 16mm open-end wrench to hold the release valve assembly. Tudor & Stefano supply these, though I don't see it on the Coffee Sensor site right now. Stefano has it here: https://espressocare.com/products/la-... - You can also grind down a wrench to fit.
It's an easy removal. NOTE: Just don't try to hold the assembly by grasping the drain tube on the catch cup. It can break off (I know). Hold the lower assembly from turning with the skinny wrench.
