Hey you guys! I hope this gives you enough insight on how I draw lips! Realism is still not my best so I am so sorry if I didn't explain everything well. In my opinion lips really aren't really as detailed as you would think. Besides hyper realistic portraits If you were to look at older paintings you would see that the lips are usually made of 4 or 5 paint strokes. So don't let yourself think you need a lot of detail in the lips all the time.
