UK HealthCare celebrated the graduation of its first cohort from Project SEARCH, a nine-month internship program for high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program aims to develop job skills and independence through immersive job experiences. In partnership with Fayette County Public Schools and the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, UK HealthCare became the first academic medical center in Kentucky to host Project SEARCH.
