Rochelle, IL is located 80+ miles west of Chicago and is the point where BNSF's Aurora Sub crosses UP's Geneva Sub on a double tracked diamond. It's also the location of the first ever railfan park built for train watching. We spent a beautiful spring day at the park documenting the action, most of which is from Union Pacific. Lots of older power is seen, including older GEs and SD70Ms on UP and a few warbonnets and 'Heritage 1' on BNSF. Traffic is mostly coal and intermodal, with some manifest and autorack trains as well. So sit back and enjoy the action in Rochelle, IL, the crossroads of the west!

Enjoy, subscribe and thanks for watching!!
