One thing I must admit that Singapore's commitment to innovation and sustainability ensures that it remains a beacon of progress, forever surprising those who wander its dynamic locations.

Good planning and compact schedule is most if you decide to cover Singapore on a short vacation. Here are few things that need to be taken care of once you land in the airport;

1. Exchange Singapore dollars at the Airport. This multicultural vibrant City is cashless, so you need not carry a lot of cash. A travel card could be a good option. Mastercard and visa card also excepted in most places.

2. Grab a SIM card. I bought a $30 SIM card with 100 GB data valid for 28 days. However, I used only about 5 GB in three days, thanks to the free Wi-Fi available almost everywhere in the city.

3. Spend $5 to buy an ez-link card that gives access to the MRT subway system and bus services. Top up as you go. Public transport is very easy, and the transport network is safe, strong, and frequent.

4. Sometimes ride-sharing apps like Grab can save you time, so it's better to install them on your phone.
