3D Lathe Tooling in Mastercam 2020 allows for more accurate collision checking and simulation for all Lathe and Mill-Turn programs. With the 2020 release, the Lathe tools can now be built more efficiently using a dedicated tool designer that walks you through every step required to build a new tool, whether from new files or from existing components. Tools, holders, and inserts can be created and stored in a new Tool Manager that features filters for each type of component to make it quick and easy to find or build exactly the tool you need from your library.
