Hey friends, let's build a custom DIY range hood cover for my parents' newly remodeled kitchen!

I have never built a range hood before--or seen one built quite like this one. So I was going into this project without a lot of experience to go off of...which makes things kind of fun, but kind of stressful haha.

Most of the DIY range hood tutorials I have seen have been built in place, but in this case, I wanted to be able to build the entire thing in my shop and just bring it over to my parents' house to install. I didn't want to pack up all my tools and build it there.

So this project (and video) was a trial-and-error-figure-it-out-as-I-go kind of situation. I hope you enjoy watching it come together.
