Jade and Bella are doing well today, though they were thrown off by the change of routine I had to do today. My foot was bitten by fire ants and I had to use lidocaine just to get my shoes on this morning, so a walk is out of the question for today. Bella loved the change of pace because she got lots of time with me on the couch, in fact, we hung out so much together that she ran out of things to tell me. Jade was less enthused about not being able to go out, but I gave her lots of ear scritches and love and even more treats. She enjoyed her half can of wet food for breakfast. I brought over two additional snuffle mats so that I could sprinkle crushed up dehydrated beef lung among them for Jade to enjoy and keep her entertained. Fountains and kibbles are full, litter box is cleaned, and the girls are all set for a relaxed day. Looking forward to being back this afternoon!

Jade and Bella continue to fare well! Jade took it better and stride this visit that we couldn't go for a walk around the neighborhood, and Bella really soaked up a ton of attention and love from me during lap time. Jade had a good appetite for her half can of wet food and was super excited to receive a rawhide alternative spiral stuffed with strips of duck jerky for her enrichment item this evening. Bella also got some treats and greatly enjoyed them! Fountains remain good, kibbles are full, litter box has been cleaned and the girls are ready to head into the weekend!
