The excavation of a sacred spring in Tuscany has yielded rich finds that are making international headlines. The bronze statuary, votive offerings, coin hoards, and plant offerings constitute one of the most important archaeological discoveries in Italy in the past 50 years! On the occasion of the free exhibit the Quirinal Palace in Rome, we will examine the finds and the context of the springs as we travel to San Casciano!

The excavation is directed by L' Universita' per Stranieri di Siena, Fondazione Friends of Florence, and Comune e Soprintendenza di Siena.
