Legal and safe UAV flight is paramount while recording a public event. For drone pilots, FAA is clear about the rules for open air assemblies and flying over people. In this video, I'm recording a parade and gathering with vendors, displays and the community. My goal was to do this safely and legal to produce this episode. Each year, the Azle Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Sting Fling event. You see the street lined with participants with their tents and the parade that includes a variety of presentations for spectators. A car show and indoor activities rounds out this wonderful event for visitors and the community participants. Thank you to everyone that made this happen. It was a wonderful day.
