Today we are unpacking two things: things I had to learn the hard way as a beginner artist; and my awesome magic books. There are so many misconceptions about artists, what it takes to make things, what kind of lifestyle or skillset you need to have...

And these are all USELESS notions that keep us from creating. They fool us into thinking that we're not the right type of person to create; that it would be presumptuous of us to try our hand at art; that we aren't talented enough to even give it a try.

To that I say: CODSWALLOP! Pick up the thing! Nothing bad can happen to you!!

Anyway - I'm getting carried away writing this description. This video is about 6 things I wish I had known as a beginner artist. I hope that you find these useful and share your opinions in the comments.
