You may all remember my Bundle Green-Waste footage that I uploaded earlier in the year, so this week's video is something I filmed back in the end of August when Hard Waste was taking place in my area! Since WM over time have used various trucks on Hard Waste such as Isuzu's and DAF's and in recent times they have purchased Iveco Acco's. This year Brand New Acco's were bought to take on the job and these new trucks featured the newer style Acco cab which made me want to film the new machines in action!

After being told and seeing photos I already knew what my task was! I first went out on a Wednesday but instead I caught up with a 2012 Acco which I got footage of although I still wasn't pleased. On the Thursday I woke up extra early and did laps of my whole block still with no luck but after locating one of the newer trucks which was collecting Metals (I got some packing shots!) the driver and runner were more then happy to give me directions to the big 8x4! After doing some laps the First 8x4 appeared and I was able to get some footage but I wasn't pleased with the footage I had taken. I then went deeper into the area where I found the Second 8x4 and now I was really pleased with the footage!

All of these new trucks feature Compaction Systems bodies which are refurbished and look great with the WM livery. A driver was giving me a run down on how good these old design bodies were for Hard-Waste collections and he also knew a fair bit about the THEN Compaction Systems company. I would like to thank the friendly runners and drivers at WM for letting me video a couple of their trucks in action and I hope you enjoy the footage as much as I did filming it!
