In this much anticipated championship match-up between the top two charter schools in the area. These two team has been the last two PCSAA champs with Chavez winning in 2017 & Friendship Tech Prep in 2018. Both teams are similar in style of play with uptempo offenses & pressure defense 94ft for the whole 32 minutes. The game was back in forth in the 1st quarter being tied up 12-12 to start the 2nd. The 2nd quarter was the difference of the outcome in the game to me. With under 4 mins remaining until halftime Tech prep went on a 17-7 run to close out the half. In the 2nd half Tech prep defense won them the championship by holding chavez to 22 2nd half points. Dajuan McMillian lead all scorers with 18 points and Senior JaVelle McClary added 12 points to go along with 8 assist.
