Acquired as a key part of the Nick Paul trade, Joseph went on a tear in Ottawa, notching 4 goals and 12 points in 11 games with the Senators after the deadline. His final season totals were 12 goals and 30 points in 69 games split between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators this season. Filling Paul's former role perfectly, with incredible speed and solid defensive plays, Joseph also demonstrated his offensive potential, being one of Ottawa's most prominent players toward the end of the season before he was out.
