In this video, I'll show you my mixing process on how I took vocals recorded on a $50 microphone (AKG Perception 120) and molded them into Clean, Full, "Radio Ready" Vocals!

Too many times I hear artist/engineers come into my recording studio and say, "Man, if only I had...". This bothers me! If there's one thing I wished I would have learned sooner in my career, is it's not always about the "GEAR" as much as it is the "EAR". I threw away a bunch of money early on, investing into the best of the best equipment, but nothing really changed in my mixes. When I learned the techniques mentioned in this video, that is when I really started seeing the change in my mixes.
