I'm solo traveling in Chennai India and I had a typical interaction with an indian guy that I met. But as a female tourist in India, traveling alone, it's vital to handle offers from men carefully to ensure I stay safe when traveling on my own. People always ask me "is india safe?" and "but is it safe for a woman traveling alone in India?" And to that I say, in general I find it to be quite safe. But I'm also careful about boundaries.
