National Science Day is observed on February 28 every year to to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by the renowned Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman. He was a gifted genius full of curiosity. When travelling by ship, his curious mind wondered, "why the ocean looks blue?". And this quest led to discovering what we know as Raman Effect for which he was awarded Nobel Prize!

Here is a simple experiment, kids can easily do at home. So stay CuRiOuS! Happy STEAMing!
