Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns got back to work on Sunday for week 9 of the 2023 NFL season.

The defense took care of business, allowing a year and league low of 58 total offensive yards from the Arizona Cardinals. There was a lot of speculation regarding the legitimacy of Deshaun Watson's shoulder injury for months, but it seems that he has finally put the naysayers to rest.

Former Browns' QB Brady Quinn had a lot to say about Watson, calling him a "trust fund baby", and Colin Cowherd went as far to say that he doesn't "respect the Browns" as an organization as a whole.

Watson's first game back amounted to 219 passing yards, a 107 rating, and two passing touchdowns. Amari Cooper went to work as usual, with 159 yards, and one of Watson's two touchdowns.

The most notable aspect of the game and what the Browns need to build off of as they head into Baltimore is Deshaun Watson's comfortability in the pocket and delivering accurate passes in the short game.

There are some key injuries now with Jedrick Wills going to injured reserve, and rookie standout Dawand Jones aka Big Thanos, might be moving to left tackle. It still remains to be seen, but the Browns are now 5-3 and very much in the playoff mix.
