My use for the track saw is to break down my sheet goods (3/4” Baltic birch) to make comfortably rip to sizes on my table saw. I have a 36” sawstop pro, so it’s not the ability to cut a full sheet, it’s more about the weight and handling of the full sheet.

I do not think WEN is going to be comparable to Makita, however it did surprise me, and for only $160 (give or taken) it’s a bargain, not the hunk of junk I kind of expected. I’ve cut through three sheets of 3/4” Baltic just to see if I could, and it did it!! I did experience a little burning with multiple sheets, so that’s not really something I’m going to try and do often, but it’s possible,

Dust collection is not bad from what I’ve seen in other reviews, especially if you try and cut without a vac hooked up. It makes a LOT of dust without a vac.

Stock blade should probably be upgraded but I’m getting some super clean cuts without tear out issues.
