Riding a modern aggressive hardtail down some enduro mtb trails and giving my thoughts on it. Hardtail is a Nukeproof Scout with upgrades and is a beast of a bike - this has to be up there as one of the best aggressive hardtails!
In the vlog I do a quick bike check then ride some classic enduro style mountain bike trails at my local spots Golfie and Glentress in the Tweed Valley, Scotland. I did notice plenty differences on the hardtail vs full suspension and chat about these as I ride the trails. Footage is POV on the Go Pro Hero 8 Black.
The bike is a 29er which was relatively new to me and is pretty damn slack - perfect for the trails I took it on! The modern geometry is really good and the bike was so much fun to ride! Key parts of the bike spec:
Hope V4 Brakes
Fox Performance 36s
Shimano SLX 11 Speed Drivetrain
Bontrager SE4 Team Issue Tyres
Normally I'm on my full suspension bike (Saracen Ariel LT) but it was in the shop for repairs and my friend kindly lent me this for a while so I could get out.
