Today we are going to see how to make the Chevrolet Corsa 1.6 and 1.4 rear brakes
In this case we are going to:
1) Replace the brake shoes (rear brake straps) .-
2) Rectify the bells.-
3) Change the brake cylinders.-
4) Change internal bell seals.-
5) Wash, grease and place bearings.
Tools and spare parts needed to do the job:
1) Parrot peak clip, to place springs and locks.-
2) Key 8 millimeters and 10 millimeters, to adjust line of brakes and cylinder.-
3) Hammer.-
4) Rectified bells, brake tapes, brake cylinder, check.-
4) Grease for bearings
5) Naphtha to wash bearings and dirty parts.-
This procedure is very similar to any rear drum brake.
