Here I use homemade chalk paint to refurbish weather-warn outdoor cushions.

I took my lead from this video:    • How to PAINT Patio Cushions  Link to Amy Howard products I used: This is NOT an affiliate

You can use any chalk paint.

The mixture I made was 1/2 Cup Plaster of Paris1/2 Cup warm watermix those together then add the mixture to 1 cup of latex paint. I used a gray semigloss indoor paint because that is what I had on hand.If you decide to try it with a fabric medium mix 1:1 for the ratio.

As you increase your coats, you will not need as much paint as with the first coat.
For waxing the cushions I rubbed light antiquing wax in with a sock and came back 20 minutes to an hour later with the dry side of the sock and buffed the finish.

It says to give it 5 hours before light use.I am almost certain you can use any paste wax, just be sure it is not citrus based. Happy Restoring!
