Its mission was to get you from your parking spot to your final destination in the busy urban streets of Tokyo. Produced from 1981-1983, it was one of the most popular scooters Honda ever made and has become an iconic modern day retro classic. It was never released in the United States.

In 2024 Honda released the spiritual successor to the Motocompo in the form of the new Honda Motocompacto! This sleek electric scooter is a modern-day take on the original and, thankfully, did make its way to America!
