We had big plans to hit all of the technical loops, (Dare a Sarah, Tarantula, Snake Eyes, & Scorpion), about a mile NW of the Browns Ranch Pima & Dynamite trail head. We also aimed to take on some of the more difficult technical sections of those trails. We were able to ride the southern edges of Dare a Sarah and some of Scorpion and Snake Eyes, and do some playing in the boulders, but it got hot too fast. It was forecast to be 112* by mid afternooon that day. So, we decided it was way too much to hit all in one ride. Especially, with it still getting to over 100*. So we planned to hit the loops in a series of three videos.
There are lots of great little trail sections that you can link up to make it a short or long ride. And there were some fun challenges on the "Most Difficult" little off shoots. Most of off shoots have trail markers that indicate wether a section is "Most Difficult" or otherwise. In each case there is usually a bypass. So, there are lots of options to pick your poison.
Most of the trails can be ridden by intermediate skilled riders, as well as some of the lesser obstacles, but to take on 90% of the fun stuff, you need to be an advanced or at least advanced intermediate rider.
For those looking for a little adventure and challenge, I can't recommend thes loops enough. I can't wait to get back out there and discover more fun stuff to play on. Stay tuned for parts II and III.
