Eddie Witz & The Most High’s My Island is the sequel to Jeff Barry's ("Chapel of Love”) Top 10 global 1970 hit song, Montego Bay. Barry along with Brian & Native Wayne Jobson (Gwen Stefani/No Doubt "Hey Baby" & "Underneath It All") collaborated on the My Island concept as a follow-up song which was given to Witz to co-produce, arrange, perform, and record. The music video was shot on location in Jamaica by a small team to capture the intimate, peaceful feel of My Island. The stunning visuals accompany Eddie Witz as he takes the viewer on a journey through the scenic landscape and rich culture of Jamaica with the stellar sonic environment created by the music that envelopes the video. The song was produced by the artiste and Grammy Award-winning songwriters and producers Brian and Native Wayne Jobson (No Doubt, Toots & The Maytals). Featured musicians include Sly Dunbar (drums), Robbie Lyn (Peter Tosh, Third World) who is on keyboards, as well as Adam Topol (Jack Johnson) on percussion.

Lyrics:
Tall gray buildings
Flashing street lights
Crowded sidewalks, boulevards
Take a step back, and you wonder
How'd we ever
Come this far

When the dark begins and the fear sets in
Leave your comforts own
Cause you're not alone

Let me take you, to my island
Where our hearts beat
At the same speed
Once you come down, down to my island
You may never want to leave

Crazy headlines, stressed-out deadlines
On a never-ending wheel
Hard decisions, life revisions
We must follow what we feel
Now our work is done so we reach for the sun
Everything is in shape for our great escape

Let me take you, to my island
Where our hearts beat
At the same speed
Once you come down, down to my island
You may never want to leave

There's a sacred place where we will be safe
Leave this crazy race for our great escape
Bags are packed, got our tickets, we're standing in the line
Here our names called, no hesitation, hope this Boeing leaves on time
There's a serenade as the horizon fades, the sun breaks through and the world is new

Let me take you, to my island
Where our hearts beat at the same speed
Once you come down, down to my island
You may never want to leave

Let me take you, to my island
Where our hearts beat
At the same speed
Once you come down, down to my island
You may never want to leave

Once you come down, down to my island
You may never want to leave
