The historic Englewood Logging Railway officially closed down in 2017 after the tragic derailment that took the lives of three workers.

But it was announced that Western Forest Products that owns the rail line said that they had hired a contractor to come and tear up the track starting in Vernon Camp and working it's way up through Woss and then to the end of the line at Beaver Cove.

On July 4th, I traveled with my good friend to Woss and then to the shops at Nimpkish to take pictures of the the final days of this historic railway.

In this first part, you see pictures taken in Woss, the steel bridge over Groves Creek, the shops at Nimpkish and Siding 3.
