At East Fork Christmas tree farm we are always looking for ways to improve. Today I will be fertilizing a test plot of trees with packets of Black Magic fertilizer. This is a product made by Spectrum products in British Columbia. They have been successfully using this product for timber trees. We typically don't like to fertilize first year trees so that we protect the roots. They claim their product is good for first year trees.
