大马经济研究院MIER研究员肖赛子在接受《八点最热报》访问时指出，根据马来西亚经济研究院分析大马统计局公布的2019年的数据显示，其实城市的B40土著家庭的人均收入，比B40华人来得高。土著家庭是3344令吉，而华人则是3235令吉。
