Another amenity which you must consider in your Airbnb business would be the online streaming devices you have for your guests! When I got started as an Airbnb host many years ago, we were still using cable as streaming platforms such as Netflix were just getting started in the Philippines! For a while, having YouTube and Netflix on your TV used to be a perk. But as more and more hosts find streaming services as more cost economic than subscribing to a traditional cable TV, offering online streaming entertainment services for your guests are becoming a regular essential. But what device do you use for this?! It's easy to say that you should just purchase a Smart TV. But Smart TV's can often be defective and phased out after a while! It's also easy to say that Google Chromecast would be the most reliable plug-in streaming stick. But using Google Chromecast can be a tedious procedure especially if we're looking at the earlier versions which don't have a remote control. Then there are other streaming sticks, but there are a world of choices! In this video I'm discussing a handful of devices that I use for my Airbnbs including the two earlier mentioned as well as Roku Express, Amazon Fire Stick, and Xiaomi Mi Stick. These are a few choices but already a good start for you to find out what are the pros and cons of these different technologies.
