I'm testing the actual capacity of this HaiLong HL eBike Battery I bought on Amazon. It is 52volts and was advertised as 20 Amp Hours. I have cycled the battery from full to around 50 percent about 5 times since I received it. So it should be at it's life best max capacity perfect for testing. I'm testing it will a Kilowatt meter by measuring how many Watts it takes in from 50 percent state of charge and that is the resting voltage after 30 minutes of shut off to cool down.

Mistake I made in the math when calculating the actually watt hours in. I only subtracted 45 watts from 846watts. I should've subtracted 85watts for battery charging inefficiency from 846w as everything was doubled to estimate 0 to 100 charging levels. Which really doesn't make a lot of difference it would still be in the range of a 15 Amp hour 52 Volt rated battery.

Next video will be, what it the total range of this cheap Amazon 52v 15Ah battery from fully Charged with a Bafang BBSHD 1000w motor. Until it's shuts down by the BMS or the BBSHD controller which ever triggers complete shutdown first. I will log the voltage at shut down and mileage. I will also log how many watts go into charging it from shutdown. I will figure out the actual usable Watt hours and Amp hours with the stock Bbshd parameters. I will ride the bike at level 1 power in PAS mode to get the absolute best mileage with this Giant Trance eBike conversion.
