Deputy President William Ruto has today bitterly protested what he termed a series of acts of betrayal by President Uhuru Kenyatta saying he has suffered for four and a half years under his boss. Ruto told a rally in President Kenyatta's Kiambu County that he had stood by the president during the ICC case tribulations and voted for him thrice. In an apparent reaction to yesterday's endorsement of his rival Raila Odinga by president Kenyatta, Ruto said Kenyatta misled the country on the intentions of the handshake saying the president had all along planned to use the handshake and BBI to make way for Raila to succeed him at state house.
